The Au-Rene closes the year with John Oliver at six o’clock on 31 December. A six o’clock curtain on New Year’s Eve is an unusual and rather civilised piece of scheduling, and it creates a specific opportunity: the show ends with the entire evening still ahead of it.
That is a retained-vehicle night. Dinner on Las Olas afterwards, a party somewhere on the water, and a driver who is not trying to get home himself. We book those early and they do sell out.

It is a considerably simpler evening: free self-parking in Holiday Park and valet at a flat twenty-five dollars. Autumn dates include The Mavericks on 11 September, Andrew Dice Clay with Billy Gardell on the 12th, Robin Trower on the 15th and Rodrigo Teaser on the 27th.
Note that The Parker sits directly beside FTL War Memorial, at 800 Northeast 8th Street, which is a separate Panthers-operated venue with its own concert calendar. Two different buildings, one block, and an easy mistake for a driver who is not local.
Dinner Before, and the Riverwalk Question
The centre sits on the New River at the western end of the Riverwalk, a short run from Las Olas Boulevard and the downtown restaurants. Curtain times are firm and Las Olas parking is its own adventure.
